Egypt backs European measures on Muslim Brotherhood

The article focused on Egypt's reaction and that of the broader international community to the European Parliament's actions against the Muslim Brotherhood organization. The European Parliament called for the development of a joint strategy to combat it, considers the organization to be terrorist, and views this within the context of international efforts to dismantle its financial and ideological networks. Reports confirmed that this reflects a global consensus aligned with Egypt's stance, which has long advocated for prosecuting the organization—especially after the United States designated its branches in Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon as terrorist organizations, coupled with European efforts and calls to include it on the list of terrorist organizations. Currently, the international community is working to impose financial sanctions and restrictions on the organization's leaders, thereby weakening its structure and reducing its influence on a global scale.
