Beijing hosts global counter-terrorism summit
Beijing organized the 2026 International Great Wall Anti-Terrorism Forum, with the participation of more than 320 representatives from 62 countries and international organizations. The event continues over three days. The forum aims to strengthen international cooperation in combating terrorism through the exchange of expertise and information, with a focus on using smart technologies and unmanned weapons in terrorist activities, as well as building capacities to counter them. Participants discussed the latest trends in terrorism, watched military training demonstrations and unmanned equipment displays, and highlighted China's efforts in international collaboration to prevent terrorism since hosting earlier editions of the forum starting in 2016.
