China Refutes Export Restrictions on Hybrid Vehicles
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce has strongly rejected the imposition of voluntary export restrictions on its hybrid vehicles to Europe, stating that such restrictions are a violation of World Trade Organization rules and conflict with market economy principles and fair competition. This response comes in reaction to reports suggesting that the European Union is demanding China impose voluntary restrictions or increase tariffs on imported hybrid cars. China emphasized the importance of considering the interests of both sides and adhering to international trade rules and domestic laws.
