Tesla driver speeds recklessly on California highway
A California Tesla driver was caught sleeping behind the wheel while using Tesla's Full Self-Driving mode on a highway. The driver was pulled over by CHP officers and received a citation for unsafe speed, with authorities emphasizing that the system is a Level 2 driver assistance feature requiring driver attention. Multiple incidents have highlighted the dangers of treating Tesla's technology as autonomous, including previous cases of drivers allegedly dozing off or being found intoxicated while behind the wheel.
