California residents oppose local slaughterhouse
A proposed slaughterhouse project called “Greenfarm” in Sacramento County has faced significant community opposition. Despite approval and plans to house livestock and offer slaughter services, neighbors are concerned about potential environmental impacts, such as odors and water contamination. The developer asserts the facility will be sealed to prevent smells, and the project is moving forward without further public hearings.
