Dad killed by shark amid rare hunt
A deadly shark attack in Perth, Western Australia, resulted in the death of Greg O’Neill, a 63-year-old swimmer, prompting authorities to issue a rare catch-and-kill order for an approximately eight-foot great white shark. Beaches in the area have been closed until at least Sunday, and patrols are ongoing, following the second shark attack in the region this week. The incident has led to a controversial response due to the protected status of great white sharks.
