Iranian FM Advocates Respectful Dialogue

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi confirmed that Iran is prepared for constructive dialogue based on mutual respect and trustworthy guarantees, while rejecting coercion and threats. He clarified that Iran will not compromise its sovereign rights under pressure and that it maintained safe navigation in the Strait of Hormuz prior to the American and Israeli attacks last February. He indicated that Iran has presented a plan to open the Strait within seven days if the conditions are right, and that it will defend its interests by all means. He also emphasized the need for the region's issues to be resolved internally by their respective countries. Additionally, he mentioned that Iran responded to the attacks with a campaign of missiles and drones, and that negotiations with the United States over the nuclear program and sanctions have not yet yielded tangible results.
