Israeli settlers seize 7 Palestinians during olive harvest

The olive harvesting season in the West Bank has seen a significant increase in attacks by settlers against Palestinian farmers, with 7 farmers kidnapped and 3 others injured during various assaults. These attacks include threatening and expelling harvesters from their lands, stealing crops, detaining and physically assaulting farmers—reflecting a rise in violations by the occupation forces and settlers that harm olive farmers and their livelihoods. Since the season began in October 2023, more than 26,000 olive trees have been destroyed, and over 45,000 trees have been damaged, amid ongoing Israeli measures to seize land and destroy crops.
