Cairo Derby: Zizo's Reaction to Hany's Goal
The match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek in the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League saw a standout performance by Al-Ahly player Ahmed Sid "Zizo," especially after his notable reaction to Mohamed Hany's goal that gave Al-Ahly the lead in the 133rd Cairo Derby. Hany scored the first goal for Al-Ahly in the 39th minute, and Zizo's celebration drew significant attention from fans, particularly since it came after he played in the derby against his former team Zamalek, where he spent about six and a half years. It is worth noting that Zizo made 260 appearances with Zamalek, scoring 84 goals, and has sought to boost his scoring record in derby matches after netting 3 goals for Al-Ahly in his first five league games. The match holds special significance for the player, who previously scored 4 goals against Al-Ahly while playing for Zamalek, aiming to achieve similar accomplishments if he scores in this encounter. The rivalry is defined by the historical head-to-head records, with Al-Ahly leading with 52 wins compared to Zamalek’s 29, while the number of draws stands at 51.
