Tunisie Telegraph: New sessions on detainees protesting fleet

Today, the Tunis Basic Court is holding new sessions to review the cases of several detainees related to protests organized by the Support Fleet supporters on September 19th. The sessions concern the cases of Qais Bouzouzia, a union official at the Tunisian General Labour Union, Meryem Khalfawi, as well as Marwan Baladiati and Hadhami Hammaami. They are accused of participating in activities supporting the Palestinian cause and related protests. It is worth noting that the number of those detained in connection with the protests has reached 14 people. The court has previously rejected requests for their release, and ongoing proceedings are still underway without final judgments having been issued so far.
