Tunisia Hosts SME Access Event
Tunis will host a regional event from October 6 to 9, 2026, dedicated to strengthening the readiness of small and medium-sized enterprises in North Africa to enter the African market. The event is organized by the General Secretariat of the Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA Secretariat) as part of the SME Booster program and will involve more than 150 business owners and supporting organizations. The focus is on facilitating access to African markets by empowering institutions to leverage legal, commercial, and digital opportunities, improving their competitiveness, and benefiting from trade financing and logistics services. The aim of the event is to accelerate the integration of enterprises into the African market, promote intra-African trade, and reinforce Tunisia’s position as an economic dialogue hub between North and South Africa, especially in preparation for the Biashara Afrika initiative in 2027.
