Trump resolves Starshield crisis in Ukraine
The article reports that former U.S. President Donald Trump has resolved the crisis involving the activation of the "Starshield" military communications system in Ukraine, which is operated by SpaceX, Elon Musk's company. The crisis had arisen amid claims of restrictions on connection speed that led to the disruption of some equipment, particularly Ukrainian drones. However, Trump denied that he or Musk had enforced these restrictions, explaining that Musk restored the service and lifted the measures that affected the system's use on the battlefield. Additionally, sources confirmed that the U.S. Department of Defense did not issue any changes to the system, which is primarily used by the Ukrainian military for operating drones and military communications. Regarding tensions between Washington and Kyiv, Trump called for elections in Ukraine and the replacement of Zelensky. Meanwhile, Russian President Putin announced his readiness to resume talks with Ukraine under American auspices to seek a comprehensive solution to end the conflict.
