Nine soldiers die in Libya training blast
Nine conscripts were killed and others injured in an accidental explosion inside a security training center in Zawiya city, west Libya, during live ammunition training, due to an explosion of a projectile from a field weapon. The incident occurred amid ongoing clashes between armed groups. Zawiya remains one of the areas suffering from continuous security deterioration, and security issues have persisted since the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
