Saudi Arabia updates Yemenis without documents
The General Directorate of Passports of Saudi Arabia announced the start of procedures to regularize the statuses of Yemenis residing in the Kingdom through unofficial means, in accordance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The measures include granting a free six-month visit visa for those without documentation, extending expired visas for six months, and enabling residents to correct their status via digital platforms without the need to visit passport offices. Additionally, it involves rectifying the status of absconding workers by canceling their absconding reports and transferring their sponsorships. Twenty-two centers have been designated across various regions to facilitate the process, as part of the Saudi leadership’s support for the people of Yemen.
