Qingdao Electric Car Exports to Egypt Rise
China's Qingdao city experienced a significant rise in exports to Egypt from January to August. The total value reached approximately 3.33 billion yuan, marking a 30.7% increase compared to the same period last year. Electric vehicle exports are among the key sectors witnessing notable growth, with an increase of 177.7%. This growth is attributed to the rising demand in Egypt, driven by efforts to develop infrastructure and a market shift toward clean energy, along with continued growth in sales of high-performance and sustainable mobility vehicles. Experts also pointed out that the Egyptian market has become a primary target for Chinese automotive companies to expand in North Africa.
