Houthis target Saudi airports for third day
The Houthi group in Yemen, supported by Iran, warns Saudi Arabia against engaging in a prolonged conflict, as they have intensified their attacks on Saudi airports and military facilities using cruise and ballistic missiles, causing damage to Riyadh and Najran airports and disrupting air traffic. This escalation is part of Operation "Yemen Dawn," which aims to counter the advances of the Yemeni government forces backed by Saudi Arabia. The operation has reportedly conducted 1,729 airstrikes, killing 1,370 Houthis, while Saudi Arabia has responded with airstrikes targeting Houthi sites in Yemen. The conflict between the two sides is expected to escalate further, with ongoing Houthi attacks and continuous warnings, amid years of war.
