Saudi-led coalition targets Houthi sites
The coalition led by Saudi Arabia announced that it targeted and thwarted military plots by the Houthis in the Al Hudaydah Governorate on Yemen's western coast, as part of its participation in a Yemeni government offensive. The strikes included the destruction of weapon warehouses, fuel depots for booby-trapped boats, and sea mines, with the aim of preventing potential attacks on Red Sea shipping routes. In a different development, Yemeni forces regained control of the city of Al-Mokha, and a wide military operation has been launched in Sanaa called "Yemen's Dawn" to target Houthi capabilities. This escalation aims to weaken the Houthis' influence and strengthen Yemeni sovereignty.
