UN and Gulf condemn Houthis' attacks on Saudi Arabia
The international community, including the United Nations and the Gulf Cooperation Council, condemned the terrorist Houthi militia attacks on Saudi Arabia, which targeted civilian facilities, caused injuries, and led to the destruction of infrastructure, threatening regional security and stability. The Security Council reiterated the importance of respecting international law and safeguarding maritime navigation in the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb Strait, urging the Houthis to cease their attacks immediately. This comes amid deep concern over the impact of these actions on international trade and civilian safety.
