Egypt stresses Sudanese unity in war
Egypt emphasizes the importance of Sudan's unity and sovereignty, and insists on rejecting any division or parallel entities in Sudan due to the ongoing war that has lasted for three years between the national army and the Rapid Support Forces militia. Egypt is working to encourage Sudanese parties toward dialogue and negotiations to ensure the preservation of state institutions and territorial unity. It is also participating in regional and international efforts to de-escalate the situation and find a comprehensive political solution that restores stability to Sudan, with a focus on supporting national institutions and rejecting equality between the army and rebel militias considered to have committed crimes against humanity.
