The battles on the fronts of Marib, Taiz, and Lahj have continued, with ongoing clashes between government forces and the Houthi militias. The fighting has resulted in the deaths of 13 Yemeni soldiers and 12 Houthis, including a Houthi leader named Faraq Mohsen Al-Assar, who was killed in the Kahboub front in Lahj Governorate. The clashes have focused on the Houthis' attempts to seize strategic areas near the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, with mutual shelling and airstrikes targeting their gatherings. Reports confirm that these confrontations have caused hundreds of deaths on both sides over just a few days. Meanwhile, government forces continue to thwart Houthi attempts to infiltrate and control vital regions, amid ongoing military escalation following the collapse of a four-year ceasefire.
