Vitinia's stance sparks debate after Ronaldo absence
Portugal midfielder Vitinha discussed the team's performance under coach Jorge Jesus after their 4-2 victory over Denmark in the UEFA Nations League. This was in the team's first match without captain Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the camp suddenly following escalating disagreements. Vitinha praised Jesus's impact on the team's performance, as Portugal secured an important away win and raised their points to 9 from 3 matches, with 7 goals scored and 3 conceded. Vitinha's comments come after Ronaldo's departure, without directly criticizing him, amid anticipation about his future with the national team and the upcoming developments.
