Accused in Tunisia security case starts hunger strike
Tunisian lawyer and human rights activist Alyaishi Al-Hammami, detained in Mornaguia Prison, has declared a hunger strike in solidarity with activist Wael Nawar, who has been on hunger strike for over a month to protest his continued imprisonment on financial charges related to fundraising efforts to support the "Fleet of Resilience," amid his deteriorating health. This comes as the judiciary is investigating Nawar and other members of the "Fleet of Resilience" steering committee, with authorities asserting that the charges are fabricated and politically motivated.
