A total of 152 countries voted in favor of a United Nations General Assembly resolution calling on the United States to reverse its ban on the Palestinian delegation's participation in the 81st session. This follows the Trump administration's refusal to grant visas for attending the meetings in New York for the second consecutive year. The Palestinian Foreign Ministry confirmed that this resolution reflects a strong international stance supporting Palestine's participation. It also stated that President Mahmoud Abbas's speech will be broadcast via video. Meanwhile, Israel and the United States condemned the resolution, attributing it to Palestinian moves before international organizations and the use of international courts. They also mentioned that Washington has extended sanctions that prevent the issuance of visas to Palestinian officials.
