Makkah Pact Mobilizes Forces in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey have decided to immediately implement their commitments to joint defense within the framework of the "Mecca Defense Pact," aiming to enhance readiness and military coordination to protect regional security. This decision follows the attempted targeting of Mecca and Medina, which the three countries condemned, reaffirming their commitment to collective deterrence. During the meeting, retired Pakistani General Nauman Mahmood was appointed as the first Secretary-General of the alliance for a three-year term. It was also emphasized that the security of each country is an inseparable part of collective security, with a commitment to preserve sovereignty and address threats collectively.
