Vieira criticizes journalist over Senegal's double
After Senegal's 1-0 victory over Comoros in a friendly match, coach Patrick Vieira defended his players, Ederson Jey and Kalidou Koulibaly, whom journalists had described as "finished." Vieira expressed his displeasure with the use of these terms, affirming that the players are delivering high-level performances and achieving historic accomplishments for the national team, and that he will not accept any disrespect towards them. He clarified that their presence at the top level for years proves their qualifications to represent Senegal, and emphasized that the match strengthened his team's undefeated record under Vieira's leadership, with the second consecutive victory already secured.
