Football Association to cover Gulf Cup final tickets
The UAE Football Association has increased the number of private jets transporting fans to Jeddah from 6 to 12, after all seats were booked within minutes of registration opening, to support the attendance at the Gulf Cup 27 final and cheer for the national team against Saudi Arabia. The federation also announced that it will cover the cost of all tickets for fans traveling on the free flights, and has set up a system for distributing the tickets in Jeddah. The tickets will be handed over at the hotel for the fans staying there, and sent via email to those traveling on their own at their own expense. The decision was met with widespread approval from Emirati fans, who expressed their excitement to participate and support in the final match between the UAE and Saudi Arabia on Tuesday in Jeddah.
