Jamal on Ballon d'Or: Best, not top scorer
The article presents the opinion of Spanish star Lamine Jamal regarding the Ballon d'Or award, emphasizing that the award should go to the best player in the world rather than the top scorer or the player with the most titles. He clarified that the method of evaluating the award has changed compared to the era of Messi and Ronaldo, and that the focus should be on the player's performance and uniqueness on the field, not on club successes or comparative statistics. He also pointed out that the current generation tends to focus more on numbers and statistics, while he believes that assessing the quality of performance and the enjoyment of playing are the true standards for the winner. Furthermore, he discussed the importance of fun and a genuine sense of excellence during matches, considering that scoring goals is just a statistic, whereas the more significant aspect is the artistic impact and individual effort the player contributes.
