Portugal calls up Ronaldo for Nations League
Giorgi Giəsus, the new head coach of the Portuguese national team, has called up star Cristiano Ronaldo to participate in the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches, despite Ronaldo's previous announcement of his retirement from international football after the World Cup. The team's first match will be against Wales on September 24, followed by games against Norway and Denmark. Meanwhile, Ronaldo, who is 38 years old, remains one of the most prominent players in the team’s history with 146 goals and a winner of the 2016 European Championship.
