Sunday atmospheric instability raises flood alerts
The Meteorological Department expects the unstable weather conditions to continue across the kingdom until Monday, with heavy showers sometimes accompanied by thunder, lightning, and hail, increasing the risk of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas. On Sunday, the situation will develop further, with heavy rains and thunderstorms, especially in the southern and eastern regions. The impact is expected to subside by Tuesday, as the weather returns to a moderate autumnal state. The department warned of the dangers of floods, thunderstorms, and widespread clouds, urging citizens to take safety precautions and avoid wadis during rainfall.
