Amman Book Fair Hosts Text-to-Image Symposium
The seminar titled "When Text Transcends to Image" was organized at the Amman International Book Fair 2026, and it discussed the issues surrounding the relationship between literature, images, and the visual arts. Participants pointed out that literary texts possess capabilities that go beyond imagery and transform into a dynamic visual element through mental imagery and the reader's visual perception. They emphasized the importance of respecting the distinctions between arts and the diversity of expressive means, illustrating that their convergence enriches culture and enhances artistic communication. The seminar also reviewed historical and artistic experiences and underscored the importance of not favoring one over the other—words or images—focusing on the fact that all arts originate from human experience and the interaction between humans and life.
