ChatGPT introduces virtual try-on feature
OpenAI has launched new tools within ChatGPT to enhance the shopping experience, including a virtual fitting room feature that allows users to digitally try on clothing and accessories by uploading their personal photos and seeing how products look on them. Additionally, users can save favorite items to revisit later. These tools leverage ChatGPT's image model capabilities and aim to enable users to visualize products before making a purchase, especially during major shopping seasons like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, to improve visual options and facilitate decision-making. This move is part of OpenAI's broader effort to expand ChatGPT into a comprehensive tool for discovering and interactively evaluating products, transforming it into a key part of the online shopping experience.
