Yankees omit Judge from ALDS roster
The New York Yankees will miss their captain Aaron Judge in the ALDS due to not being ready to return from his calf injury. Despite efforts to recover, Judge was not placed on the postseason roster, and the team decided he was not yet prepared for game action. He has been recovering since September 16 after suffering a right calf strain and was evaluated throughout the week but ultimately was not included in the lineup for the series against Tampa Bay.
