Yamamoto to pitch from Game 3 in playoffs
The Los Angeles Dodgers have decided to start Tarik Skubal in Game 1 of the NLDS against the Braves, bypassing Yoshinobu Yamamoto for scheduling reasons. Yamamoto, who had an excellent regular season and postseason performance last year, will be saved for potential later games, including a possible Game 5. The decision aims to optimize their pitching rotation for the series and future matchups, with the Dodgers confident their strong rotation will be key to their postseason success.
