E. coli Outbreak Prompts Expanded Berry Recall
A recall has been expanded for frozen organic berries sold at Walmart and Trader Joe’s across the United States due to an E. coli outbreak that has sickened 17 people and hospitalized six in Florida and Georgia. The products, made by Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur S.A., include specific lots of Great Value and Trader Joe’s berry blends, with shipments reaching 30 states and the District of Columbia.
