Lakers ticket prices may rise under new owners
The Lakers plan to significantly increase ticket prices, with the average ticket expected to rise from $217 to $361 within two years, as new ownership aims to boost team value and control resale markets. The team’s valuation is projected to reach $30 billion within the next decade, supported by rising revenues from ticketing, media rights, and sponsorships. Despite high attendance, the price hikes are part of a broader strategy to enhance profitability and competitiveness.
