Aramco Employees Work Remotely Amid Drone Interception

Saudi Aramco has instructed its employees to evacuate its headquarters in Dhahran and to work remotely for the time being, marking the first such instruction since the start of the war with Iran. This move followed significant damage to the facility caused by the Houthis earlier this month, when the headquarters was targeted, resulting in a major fire. In related news, Saudi air defenses intercepted and destroyed a drone over Riyadh after the Houthis launched dozens of unmanned aircraft at Saudi Arabia over the past few days, leading to the death of two people and injuries to eight others. Operations at Dammam Airport have resumed following an attack on the facility. Additionally, reports reveal that American and Israeli plans are ready to strike Iran after the U.S. midterm elections, with targets including energy infrastructure and nuclear facilities. This comes amid extensive aerial drills near the Iranian border, which could potentially escalate military tensions in the region.
