Iraqi Group Criticizes Zaydi Government Corruption

The article addressed the criticisms directed at the completion of Iraq's new cabinet under the leadership of Ali Zaydi, which saw high-level positions distributed among relatives and political blocs, reflecting the ongoing pattern of sectarian quotas and corruption. It pointed out that the new formation includes appointing several deputy ministers who are relatives, such as the brother of Al-Khazali and the nephew of Maliki, which incited public outrage and was seen as a continuation of the practice of distributing positions among political families, similar to the previous regime. The article also criticized the government's attempt to control jobs through superficial measures, without genuinely addressing the root causes of the financial crisis and corruption. It called for a review of the constitution and the correction of the constitutional flaw that grants political forces control and effectively delays the formation of the government.
