Korea border resumes loudspeaker warfare
North Korea announced that it will resume propaganda broadcasts via loudspeakers along the border with South Korea this month. This step revives a psychological warfare campaign following increased tensions after three South Korean soldiers were injured by a landmine. Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, confirmed that the country is strengthening its border defenses by adding mines, barbed wire fences, and anti-tank barriers. She also stated that loudspeaker broadcasts will be reinitiated as part of a policy of escalation against Seoul. She emphasized that these measures are in line with North Korea's decision to sever all diplomatic relations with South Korea amidst the worsening relations with Washington.
