Gaza buries 75 martyrs among 8,000 bodies

Seventy-five Palestinian martyrs have been martyred and their bodies retrieved from underneath the ruins of destroyed buildings in the Dairj neighborhood of Gaza City, after nearly three years of Israeli bombardment, amid ongoing tensions in the Gaza Strip. Authorities indicated that reaching some of the bodies is difficult due to restrictions imposed by occupation forces, and approximately 8,000 bodies remain buried under the rubble. The recovery operations require heavy equipment, and rescue teams face significant risks. This comes amid Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, as military operations have resulted in hundreds of injuries and deaths, as well as widespread destruction of infrastructure during the ongoing war since October 2023.
