Israel blocks Gaza patients' exit for seventh day

The article pertains to Israel's ongoing closure of the Rafah border crossing for the seventh consecutive day, preventing patients and injured individuals from leaving the Gaza Strip. This comes amidst new restrictions being imposed on evacuation operations through the Kerem Shalom crossing, including reducing the number of trips and refusing certain cases by the Israeli side. Estimates indicate that the current numbers and mechanisms would require eight years to evacuate all patients and wounded, highlighting a catastrophic humanitarian situation. Additionally, Israeli attacks within the strip are escalating, with six Palestinians killed since Monday evening, including militants from Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Homes are being destroyed and demolished, and cases of forced displacement are rising amid the deteriorating humanitarian conditions. International organizations are calling for a halt to the aggression and the rescue of the civilian population.
