Yemen: Houthi Attacks Halted and Security Complaint

Yemeni forces, supported by the resistance, thwarted two attacks by the Houthis in Taiz Governorate near the Bab al-Mandab Strait. The attack resulted in the death and injury of dozens of assailants, along with the destruction of several military vehicles. This comes five days after the liberation of Zubab District and strategic areas around the strait, during which government forces carried out extensive operations, gaining control of important positions and cutting off supply lines to the Houthis. In a related development, the Yemeni government submitted a complaint to the United Nations Security Council regarding a Houthi attack on Aden Airport. The attack involved the use of missiles and suicide drone aircraft targeting the airport during the landing of a civilian flight, posing a direct threat to civilian lives and aviation safety. The government described the attack as a violation of international law.
