His mother knew his true aliases
Hadi Al-Abdullah revealed that during the Syrian revolution, he was forced to use pseudonyms such as Samir Fathi and Abdul Rahman to protect his family from regime threats. The only person who knew the secret behind these names was his mother, out of fear for his life and his family's safety. After expanding his media activities, he officially changed his name to Hadi Al-Abdullah through the court, so that his name would be linked to his social media accounts. His mother and father call him Muhammad, but his wife and siblings address him as Hadi, while his daughter Bisan refuses to call him Muhammad. This reflects personal conflicts and the fear of harm associated with his activities amid difficult security conditions.
