Six injured in Lebanon clash

An Israeli attack occurred in northeastern Lebanon near the Syrian border, resulting in six injuries, including four Syrians and one Lebanese person, after a drone targeted a vehicle in an area that had remained relatively calm since the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah. This incident comes as part of a broader escalation related to the war that entered Lebanon in March, following Hezbollah's launch of rockets in response to the killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. It was preceded by a series of airstrikes and Israeli incursions, which slowed down after an agreement between the United States and Iran in June to disarm Hezbollah and for Israel to gradually withdraw from southern Lebanon. In the midst of this escalation, Israel announced the death of an officer and the injury of three soldiers in southern Lebanon on Thursday.
