Zelensky Criticizes Russian Diesel Exports

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized an agreement between the United States and Russia that allows Moscow to supply diesel to the United States, describing it as an investment in a war that should be brought to an end, and expressing that supporting Moscow with diesel only strengthens its terrorism and treachery. Zelensky also called the agreement a weak and disgraceful decision that reflects Washington’s weakness, emphasizing the need for mutual de-escalation with Russia. In response, U.S. President Trump announced that Russia will supply over a million tons of diesel to the U.S. market and the global market in the coming months, which is expected to quickly lower diesel prices. Meanwhile, Putin affirmed that Russia is prepared to supply oil and petroleum products to support the global economy.
