Ghar al-Dama' flood erosion study
A study is currently being prepared in the Gargourma district of Jendouba Governorate to protect the Wardgash area from flood risks, through on-site assessments of locations that have previously experienced floods or are exposed to risks during heavy rains. A specialized team, including engineers from the General Administration of Urban Water, conducted field visits to areas such as El-Mosabihiya, Douar Ben Youssef, Ain Rummana, and El-Hiyam. The goal was to evaluate the real situation in each area and identify necessary intervention points to protect residents and property. The data collected will be used to ensure that proposed solutions align with the actual conditions and to prioritize interventions aimed at reducing flood risks in these areas.
