Hobshi reviews Lebanese University leadership

Under the title of the Lebanese University Presidency, Deputy Antwan Habshi pointed out that Constitutional Decision No. 8/2026 annulled the current University President Bassem Badran's right to run for a new term. He called for accountability of senior officials for their failure to adhere to this decision. He emphasized that transparency and the announcement of candidates by the Ministry of Education are essential to prevent conflicts of interest, uphold the principles of equality, and ensure equal opportunities. He also believed that university reform requires respecting the law and decisions of the Constitutional Court.
