Trump Warns of Erasure
Donald Trump warned that a Democratic victory giving the party control of both the House and Senate could wipe out his administration’s achievements, including tax breaks on tips and overtime and Social Security benefits. In his final campaign appeal before Tuesday’s vote, he urged supporters to turn out in force, saying their votes could give Republicans a landslide victory. Trump had taken part in 30 rallies across 20 states in 32 days, and claimed that his policies had helped create $25 trillion in wealth for the United States.
