A passenger plane traveling from Dublin to Rome was diverted to France, where it was escorted by French fighter jets to Évreux Airport, west of Paris, after a bomb threat was reported on board. In Bulgaria, three Ryanair flights bound for Sofia received similar threats. Two flights from Copenhagen and Madrid arrived in the capital, while a flight from London was diverted to Plovdiv. The incidents followed threats against around 10 European flights on Tuesday, including incidents that led to the temporary closure of Warsaw Airport and the scrambling of fighter jets in Rome.
