Activists report 20-minute Hebron clashes challenge control
A military operation took place in the city of Hebron in the West Bank, carried out by two Palestinians at the "Farsh Al-Hawa" checkpoint on the western entrance to the city. The two sides exchanged gunfire for more than 20 minutes. The operation resulted in the death of two soldiers and injury to three others, with the two perpetrators also being martyred. The clashes led the occupation army to impose a curfew on the city. This operation is considered a significant security blow to the Israeli government and highlights the ongoing Palestinian resistance in challenging the oppressive measures and daily assaults the city faces, amidst escalating security and political tensions in the region.
