Al-Faisaly advances in AFC CL2 after win
The Jordanian team Al-Faisaly achieved its first victory in the group stage of the AFC Champions League 2, defeating Omani team Al-Nahda with a 2-0 result in the second round. Jean Charles Ahua scored the first goal in the 30th minute, capitalizing on a superb pass from Ahmad Al-Arras. Then, Al-Arras added the second goal in the 76th minute. The win raised the team's points tally to 3, placing them in third position in the group, tied with Qatari team Al Rayyan. Meanwhile, Saudi side Al Taawun leads the group with 4 points. This victory compensates for their loss in the opening round against Al Rayyan, who won 4-3, and puts the team in a good position to compete for qualification.
